Who would have thought!

Well first off I have 2 more paintings under my belt. Wee hee! Secondly, my daughters crack me up!

We have been struggling with long division for a couple weeks ,now and to say the least the kids and I are over it.

My oldest daughter last night found a stash of balloons left over from their birthday and blew a bunch up. Then she got this quirky idea to crunch math equations on them with a sharpie. By chance after two problems the light bulb went on! So no as you can imagine I have a living room full of balloons with long division problems on them. I can’t help but feel defeated but very happy for her at the same time. I tried so hard to help her and show her all the shortcuts myself with no avail. I love her creativity! She did it all on her own. All she needed was a different medium. Who would have thought.
